About Mother's Ruin 1751
Craig Brook-Hewitt founded Mother's Ruin 1751 in July 2018 with his father Ken, who worked for twenty years in the brewing and distilling business and is now their product developer and business partner. His passion for Gin began whilst he was serving in the Royal Navy, and funnily enough ‘grew legs' during the Royal wedding of the Duke of Sussex to his wife the Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan.
He had his sight set to create his very own gin, however, he believed that introducing his Gin Flights and gaining the knowledge and experience of the local gin world first would give him a better understanding of what type of Gin he would like to create, and over time Cornish Blue Flamingo was born!
