About Golden Rhino Gin
Rhinos and gin do not have much in common… But what they do have is that The Shared Universe Foundation, a non-profit organization, has created a finely made gin to raise funds that go directly towards conservation efforts for endangered species, especially rhinos.
Did you know that it costs about €45,000 (approx $64 000 CAD) a year to protect a rhino? Each bottle of The Rhino Golden Rhino Gin is hand-crafted in small batches by the master distiller group Old Packhouse Distillery in Tzaneen, South Africa. The taste is amazing and the cause worthwhile too! Drink gin and help save a rhino.
About The Shared Universe Foundation
The Shared Universe Foundation is dedicated to advancing research, education, and conservation in regard to the rhinoceros and other endangered species, along with the provision of strategic support for biodiversity conservation programs and projects. The emphasis is on the protection and conservation of rhinoceros and other endangered species as well as increasing conservation awareness amongst the people of South Africa and abroad.
The Golden Rhino Gin is made with the sole purpose of raising money to protect these beautiful animals and other endangered species. Together with Mapesu Private Game Reserve and Mopane Bush Lodge, they work up-close and personal on conservation projects, research, and education.
